So I ran into a dumb arse Bama fan at son's HS game...

I'm enjoying one of the best games my son has played all year at MLB with a good family friend. This game is in Alamogordo, NM. A real shite hole town, and I am wearing my Auburn hat sitting down by the field.
This fat bitch starts going up the steps and see's my hat and yells AUBURN! looking right at me, and I say yes Auburn. She says Bama is where it's at!
I don't know why I said it, because I am mindful of where I'm at, but I said frick Bama! And her jaw dropped and kept walking up the stairs...
I'm not going to lie, it felt good.

I've been going to las cruces a lot lately for work... theres something a little off about southern NM.

I agree for the most part. There are a lot of good people, but not my favorite of places I have lived for sure.
What kind of work brings you to Las Cruces? Do you fly into EL Paso? Weird seeing Juarez so close isn't it? It is for me anyway.

Yeah I think the sidewalkers out west dont get it. I was in Target near Cherry Creek in Denver after the 2010 Iron Bowl. I had on AU hat some guy yells Roll Tide as he passed, I followed him after he was outside and said something like frick bama and Sabaans cheating arse. Dude literally ran to his car

I work for a gen contractor... We just started a job in LC.... yep, I fly into ELP... it's very strange seeing Juarez so close... Driving down I-10 and you can see the hundreds of shacks a 1/2 mile away.

Exactly, and it is dangerous as hell. We have a guy that works for us whose family is wealthy in Mexico. A family friend passed away and they offered to send a limo to pick him up once he crossed the boarder. He told them no, that he would get his own transportation.
He said it's not just the cartel, but others who target limo's and nice cars. Kidnap people and hold for ransom.

Yah, it just bothered the hell out of me. It was a nice day and was proud of my son enjoying his game, and she tried to ruin that, and I blurted it out.
I usually just laugh it off, but didn't this time.
Why do Bama fans feel they need to say anything? This isn't the first time. I see Bama fans and don't feel the need to say a damn thing, but they have to make sure you hear a Roll Tide.

I'm with you on that. It's frickin annoying. They go out of their way to say that shite. Wear my AU shirt on Fridays to work and usually hear "roll tide" in some form or fashion. I would say STFU but don't want to use profanity at work
