Been trying to find this pic for a while. I legit think JJ could be a better QB than Cam. He's so much more polished as a passer than Cam was. I would say JJ compares better to Luck in that he's athletic and can move in the pocket but neither are the runner that Cam is.
Either way I am sooo excited to see him this fall

I agree. It's hard for anyone to duplicate Cams magical season. Comparisons will only make JJ look less. But I sure hope I'm wrong.....

More polished than MSU Cam but it's debatable vs SEC Championship game Cam.
Still, JJ will produce huge numbers, no doubt. We'll see if he can take over games like Cam.

It's like people forget that Cam set the NCAA Record for passer efficiency as he ran for 1400 yards and 20TDs
But of course that record setting year can be eclipsed by a QB within 5 years at the same school. Definitely likely

Jeremy Johnson is not Cam Newton. Not by a country mile. Talented, yes. But a different style of QB entirely.
Cam was simply the perfect quarterback for Gus's system. Not sure there will ever be another one.

Hope this kid can handle the pressure! If he can, we will make a big run.... It's all about how he deals with the pressures of the big show...

JJ has a good bit more talent around him than Cam did. He should not have to take over any games. We are better at every position on O, QB excluded, than in 2010.

Maybe more talented, but we had some of the most clutch players on offense... Lutz, Blake, Adams, Dyer, McCalebb, Burns... that team had "it". Not to mention our offensive line mauled people.
