I thought that was the case. Tubbs was at Miami when Ray Lewis was there, so Michael Barrows would be in the mix there as well.
It occurred to me that Barrows might have reached out to Tubbs to find out about what coaching at Auburn is like as well as community etc.

I didn't even know that tubs was ever a coach at the U. That is pretty cool

He was there during Jimmy Johnson's dynasty. I think that is where his DC career started.
