According to some mod rumblings on Rivals, things are not going so well on offense.
The 3 QBs competing for the job are looking so poor that the staff is reportedly putting an unusual level of work into getting Woody Barrett ready.
JGT is speculating he could see some PT as the season progresses.
Couple this with stellar D line play and a decent defensive unit and we could be getting Tub ball back!

I'm sorry, but you have an Elite 11 MVP on your team, and you can't get any production out of him, to the point you're banking on a freshman who showed up at camp a few weeks ago? If that is the case, it's time to start re-evaluating yourself as a coach.

I want Woody Barrett to start. Woody & Pettway in the same backfield would be really fun to watch as the season progressed

I am telling you guys we will try to run the same 5 plays from the last 2 years. Gus is stubborn as hell.

this has to be true. SW was at least serviceable last year, so it makes perfect sense that, with more experience, he would become completely incompetent.

Word from camp last year was about how this was the fastest, most athletic Auburn team in a generation and JJ was playing like a man possessed by Cam.
Point is, nobody knows shite. And nobody has ever known shite. Insiders just lean into whatever the general fan consensus is.

I was in my Junior year of highschool during the 08 season. but from what I remember most reports were positive from practice on both sides of the ball but no one could explain exactly what the f*ck happened when gameday came around

Ziemba and Coleman got in a fight during fall camp... that's back when media actually got to watch practice and it became a big deal. Tubs closed practice after that iirc.

Yeah I remember that. but I was referring to mostly Franklin most reports about his offense from fall camp were mostly positive other than some of the guys said they were having trouble learning the system. then after game one of 2008 folks were already calling for franklins head

Name one Elite 11 MVP that has made a significant contribution to their team??? I will hang up and listen.

Exactly. Might as well see what he is made of because we know what JJ and Sean White can do.
JF3 will be an absolute turn over machine.

Ya... More elite 11 mvps have been failures than have succeeded in college.
