So our 2nd year starter whose had 3 years to learn the offense is beyond a true freshman? The only reason he is even in the top half is because he played Arkansas St anyways Also, who out there exactly regards Jalen Hurts as anything more than a surprise FR QB?

Oh shut the hell up. That's the most ignorant logic I've ever heard.Nick Marshall was a junior getting outplayed by Johnny Manziel a freshman. Therefore Nick Marshall was shite amirite?

Johnny Manziel was a redshirt freshman, not a true freshman which I very specifically stated. Despite what Chex may argue, there is a massive difference when you add a RS year

You could try again but you'll find that true freshman QBs historically are garbage. That's why Jalen Hurts being average is getting so much praise

He thought he was going to get blasted and dropped. Looked like he went total paraplegic on the field. He seemed surprised when no one was near him.

He needs to toughen up and he could be a real good one, but it's obvious he does not like getting hit. Not that anyone does, but damn it is D1 football yo.

Anytime TSteve has to turn around for the ball, he does that. It is his signature move

The ball was underthrown behind him and he had to look back and slow down for it.

Sean White isn't good.

You my boy on here...but I disagree. I think he's a solid SEC QB. He's not dynamic, but with our defense and special teams, we can win a lot of games with solid QB play. The kicker with White is that him being the guy will require I great mix of run-pass than Lashlee/Gus are used to. They need to allow him to pass on 1st down more often than 4 out of 33 times like they did vs. LSU. I think Lashlee mixed up the passing game much better than Gus had been doing and this led to a very good performance by White. Going 19-26 with a few drops by Stevens isn't bad at all. Stevens also dropped what should've been a TD.

That's a reach dude. He put that ball JUST over the LB with some nice touch. That's on Stevens to slow his route enough to make that catch in stride as much as it is for SW to put it in the right place. That was a beautiful and very difficult throw.

Oh my gosh...poor baby with freak athleticism had to adjust a little and falls down and you blame the qb? You are irrational and wrong when it comes to SW.

The only thing I can think is that SW must have stolen Chin's GF and then went out and beat up Chin's little brother.

That's gotta be it.

On a side note. Is NCM still injured? I figured we would of seen more of him by now.

I'm surprised GC hasnt mentioned it since he is the leader of team #NeverWhite but NCM was wide arse open on one of our whirlybird plays and Sean didnt see him. And when i say wide arse open, i mean he could have under thrown the ball and NCM would have walked in.

You obviously don't want Sean to be a game manager. You want him to be perfect. If it was Cam or Nick making that throw not shite would be said.

agree totally. I have noticed that also. He either heads for out of bounds or goes down.

I'm confused as to where people are saying "2 TDs" were left on the field for Sean White.

The only "drop" that would have been a TD is the first Tony Stevens "miss" since he definitely should have been able to jump over Tre White and make that catch

TSteve legit dropped one on the 2 yard line, but we would have punched that in not throw it

It never stops with you

Idk what they mean by Tony left two on the field unless they're counting the one where he fell down. Personally I don't.

That was 100% a TD if Tony just holds on. Tre White's back was turned and he didn't even contest the throw. Sean made an awesome back shoulder throw against a very competitive corner and Tony failed him.

And hopefully you recognize that Sean hitting Stevens in the hands on the 2 yard line was Sean making a nice redzone play. TDs aren't the only plays you can make in the redzone.

He had one hit him in the hands in the end zone and one hit him in the chest in the end zone.

I'm not sure if you are talking about the play in the right side of the end zone, or the left. (on tv) The one in the right side would have been a Top 10 plays catch. The one in the left side of the end zone hit him in both hands and then his elbows.
