This thread is literally about everything OTHER than White being named the starter.

Well when 4 1/2 of the 5 pages were posted before he was named the starter what do you expect?

The thread was created in February

our defense is in a another new system.

you're my boy GC, but Steele's philosophies and system are extremely similar to what Muschamp ran. Plus a lot of the guys who will be playing this year have already played a decent amount of SEC football. I don't think this is like changing from Roof to Ellis or Ellis to Muschamp.

I don't disagree but similar isn't the same. Look at the air raid offenses, most coaches are directly connected to Leach if not HalM yet there are very real differences. This is despite similar philosophy and formations.Even with identical schemes, coaching style, jargon and techniques change . Players have to adjust which takes time.

I'm high in the potential of this defense. I don't think they are ready to carry a team through a top 5 schedule though. Not with the youth and players we only project to dominate

Ya they have, I thought we'd have to wait a year for the potential to match the on field product.

Did SW play in the 4th against Arky?

Where is the clause that says "the QB should at least complete 7 passes before he can be attributed the win?"

There is a clause that addresses both of those.

Specifically

**Clear victories/blowouts void playing requirements as long as SW played enough snaps to get us to secure the win.

I imagine I will be paying up on this bet unless we have a collapse or SW gets injured

Jamaal, given my work schedule you will either have to wait or I will have to venmo you

IMO it was plain to see Arkansas, Ole Miss, and State's struggles coming and LSU was predictable as well.

Sean White has progressed how I expected.

I felt very confident about this bet and that the season would look about like it has so far.

But the defense has gone way beyond my high hopes and that's why we're going to finish better than even my homer arse hoped for.
