Had a prominent Alabama executive leak through the grapevine that Daniel Carlson will be transferring to Bama and taking his brother with him.
I called bullshite and bet the man $100 that it was never going to happen.
He seemed absolutely convinced it was going down. Anyone else heard this or did i just pocked a Benjamin?

Carlson can't transfer without sitting out. Why would he sit out his senior year when FieldGoal Gus built our offense around him?

Yes, he could go as a grad transfer and play immediately, but Gus would have to release him to play at another SEC school if I am not mistaken. It's a rumor and a very bad one.

That happened because the mother and kid went public with the block and Saban finally allowed the transfer to stop the publicity. I just don't see Carlson doing that. I mean he could have gone pro this year and just seems highly improbable you would return only to transfer.

Pretty sure this rumor was started by a troll on Bama board playing off all the stories this year about him growing up a Bama fan
