Question about the color-coded cards our defense has on their belts

How come some players have them, but other's don't?
Obviously, I know nobody here will know the exact answer, but what is most likely the reason?

Not sure what you are talking about, but it's probably those play cards for those in charge of adjustments.

i think they all have them
some wear them on their wrist and not their belts (lawson wears it on his wrist)

Same reason some QB's have them on their wrists while no one else does. He is the QB and is in charge.
