Don't know if they'll be as good as last season, but looking at those names I realize I am more confident about them being better than average than I have been since 2008.

Lots of experience on this Defense.

How did we get so many Davis'? We will likely be starting 5 Davis' this year.

Me too. He has had really bad luck so far in his career. I hope he can stay healthy.

He'll get mop up minutes and play on special teams. As far as playing a substantial role on defense, i just don't see it if Bryant and Moultry are what we think they are.

Which of these guys becomes this year's AU defensive Thorpe/Holland Award winner? Player that is most infuriating on defense? Surely we have one guy who is destined to always get beat or be out of position

Nah brah. Auburn defense is finally Auburn defense again. 2009-2015 was a hard time. It was like Moses wandering through the desert when you grew up with an Auburn that was known for annually having one of the best and hardest hitting defenses in CFB

Roberts played excellent towards the end of the season. I think Muschamp put the fear of god in him with some of those arse chewings.

D-line is going to be nasty

Nope. He is truly healthy again. Plus, he won't have to be the guy covering up for others.

That happens more than you think when you don't trust a teammate to make the play. You get caught cheating, and you wind up the one who gets burned. He shouldn't have done it, but it has been happening.

If Trigga wasn't any good, why has he started on both SEC teams he played for?
