I am on the record as saying I thought he would actually be a good fit for Gus. But that was assuming Gus would have a O.

I remain skeptical as it has only been 4 games, but I am also impressed.

He definitely had the horses for the race when he got here.

Was not happy we were giving so much cushion set the end of the game.

I really like when we sent that all our blitz on the illegal motion game.

Steele >>>>> Aranda

Still have to cut down on big plays - out of 59 snaps, LSU gained 144 yards on 4 of them, but only 194 on the other 55.

But how funny is it that LSU's two losses came at the hands of the team they lured their "home run hire" DC from, and the guy they ran off to make room for him

Take a look at who we've played and how other defenses fared... A&M is gashing Arkansas, and put up plenty of points on UCLA... Clemson did whatever they wanted to tech... Our performance tonight is on par with what Wisconsin did to LSU.

jury is still out... but the early returns are positive... just gotta limit the big plays.

I'll check in to say I'm not.

I was wrong. Dude is calling normal solid plays and letting the athletes be themselves.

I want to say a special frick you to gus for giving me high blood pressure now though.

I'd say Travis Williams coaching Lbers is bigger than anything. We look great at LBer, like we used to under Tubs. Our LBer play from 2011-2015 was absolutely garbage. But now they are fast again. What we lacked the last few years was speed.

Plus Monty finally looks like an NFL draft pick. A little more pass rush and we could be a top SEC defense again.

so far he has been a wizard. not a huge fan of some of his blitz packages but overall the turnaround has been tremendous. I agree that T-Will getting our linebackers back to a physical style of play has had a big impact on our overall results as well. he is a heck of a coach and a heck of a man. love me some T-Will.

I never was mad. I really didn't know much about him. I stated that

I was mad however that Boom left. I thought we would get one more year. WE are doing good on Defense right now. I believe some of that is Steele and some is leftover boom...
