I fully expected Barber to get more opportunities to carry this year. 9 carries through 5 games is extremely light. He's getting less attention than Roc though not by much (13 carries).
I have nothing to confirm this, but someone told me this weekend that Barber is being held back by his inability to learn the offense. Specifically, this inability manifests in the classroom as well. Can anyone comment as to whether this is true or not?
I had high hopes for Barber but he won't be doing much if he can't learn the playbook.

Gus does not like to get away from his workhorse backs. Look at all the years he has been here. He trusts someone and uses them
I dont know about Barber but dont look for many carries this year other than CAP and Grant.
A few clean up carries for Roc and Barber but thats it
Thats how the man does it

Well there's always next year. Cap gets the job done but I'm still not overly impressed with him.

I heard he had a learning disability.

He has dyslexia. There was a story about it awhile ago

Next year he will probably be worked into the rotation a lot with Roc and Jovon.

Crap. I hope he's able to work past it. That must suck.

He just has to wait his turn. He and Roc will share the load next year.

I'm pretty sure he can learn the plays, its just a little harder than normal but it shouldnt be a problem I dont think

Barber is getting frustrated. I noticed he gave Roc the cold shoulder running off the field the other night. When Roc stuck out his hand for "high five" "tag i'm coming in for you" slap Barber blatently pulled his arm in as to purposly miss Roc's attempt. Barber was obviously not happy about being replaced after carrying the ball only 1 time.

This offseason will be his to show hes ready to be the man. I dont know why he'd expect to get the workload over 2 seniors. He better put in the time bc Jovon & Roc arent going to let him have it for free.
