Source of the beef, quality of the feed. How recently it was cooked. If it was aged dry or wet, or at all. Overall handling. There's a number of factors

You can buy a steak from Walmart and eat it like that and be fine health wise

I had no idea. Granted I'm not going to test it, but I thought for sure that'd be bad news.

As long as you get the outside of the meat cooked well then you're fine. Rare to medium rare is the only way to eat steak.

If you have to put steak sauce on it, that means it's been cooked wrong.

You feel like an a-hole because you are an a-hole.

A good steak doesnt need much. Coarse sea salt, pepper, medium rare at most. I like Gordon Ramsey's method for the stove top.

ETA: bourbon on the rocks makes it perfect.

Oh great it's Lew...

Longhorns does have a decent steam for the type of establishment it is but that's not exactly a great category.

In Auburn I like to go to the hound. Get the big fat steak and ask them to put it on fries. The fries soak all the juice and are great after 16oz of steak.

It's a great way to do it. A little thyme, garlic, tons of butter for basting in the skillet is the way to go. Video

OP, dude, I like shitty food every once and a while, but I guarantee you if you cook it like this it will blow the hamburger steak you had out of the water. Do yourself a favor.

I've had that for a long time. Long story short, he was drunk posting on the sec rant and that was the result. Other than that we just give each other shite on the gaming board.

I really hate some of our fans sometimes.

I've been here for 2 years and 600 posts and I'm still being called an alter/troll. Over the course of the thread I realized that maybe I've been a bit uncultured, but most people were helpful, nice, and offered some good pointers.

Then we have these 2 who just want to be the bully on the playground. Whatever.

Let's check the facts...

- Username referencing a shitty blog devoted to uncovering Alabama and anti-auburn football conspiracies... Check
-a Longhorns sirloin is the best steak of your life... check
- medium-well... check
- Heinz 57... check

You're either an uncultured hick or an Alabama troll... or both.

I got nothing against longhorns...But come on...

I could be wrong but I don't think that's what NTY is.
