Well just the top 16 teams isn't as bad I guess

This is pretty cool. I don't want them to reveal too much thought because it's always exciting when the bracket is released

I guess that shows how much attention I pay to March Madness.
This is a change?

Yeah. It's one of those "if it's not broken don't fix it" changes that does nothing but ruin a good thing. They used to wait and announce all the seeds at one time.
Bigger changes than the first 16 teams being announced early are looming as well. Seems newer metrics could be added for the tourney selection process or even the RPI being scrapped altogether.

It brings up an interesting debate, should they include/seed teams based on how good they are or how accomplished they are?

Discussions of metrics and formulas will more than likely leave me in a daze and quickly over the discussion. I'm not sure which formulas are more accurate and important but y'all probably do. As long as they are close and don't frick up March Madness, I'm good with it.
The nerds can discuss the topic at will.

Lanier, I can't handle the pressure of carrying out a drinking thread. I'm not a sophisticated drinker or a dark brew drinker or a sipper. All I want is a got damn safe space right now.

First beer that popped up in my mind was corona. Couldn't even drink that shite on the beach even though that was the cliche thing to do. So I had a straufoam cooler full of miller lite while everybody else at the hotel had their yetis, kindles and IPads, and sippers. I basically looked like a redneck out there.
I took out the letters OT from the title. Maybe my cardinal sin was noticed only by a few.

Its OK. Not my favorite. I do not drink a ton of beer but when I do it is girl beer. I just hate the taste of the craft beers. All of them.
And You are correct beatbama. Add a little lime juice and rock on . If you want to get even more awesome, get some pure agave and put a few drops in there

You have to be very careful with that drink. It is very, um , drinkable...
Before you know it, you will have knocked 4 inches out of a large bottle of Julio and you my man, will be the one who pays for that.
Tequila is suppose to be hard to drink. Its is a natural governor.

Experimental rules for the 2017 NIT tournament. If Auburn gets in, these rules would be good to know.
- Each team is limited to a team total of four personal and technical fouls (excluding administrative technical fouls) during each 10-minute segment of each half.
- The first 10-minute segment of each half will begin when the ball becomes live to begin the half and will end when the game clock reads 10:00. The second segment will begin when the game clock reads 9:59 and ends when the half ends.
- When a team has reached the four-foul limitation, all subsequent personal and technical fouls (excluding administrative technical fouls) will be penalized by two free throw attempts.
- Each team’s foul total will reset to zero when any 10-minute segment has ended.
- The rules regarding penalties for fouls in the act of shooting, flagrant fouls or technical fouls will not be affected by this experimental rule and will always result in two free throws unless the rules specifically say otherwise.
- In any overtime period, when a team has reached a total of three personal and technical fouls (excluding administrative technical fouls), all subsequent personal and technical fouls will be penalized by two free throw attempts.
