I have no hope of us hiring a good coach. I have no hope of us getting rid of Jay Jacobs. I have no hope of our recruits staying committed. I have no hope of us competing in the SEC for a long time. And if Chizik doesn't get the boot, I will supply the bleach.

I'm right there with you. I have zero faith in anyone at AU in regards to this.

I'm right there with you guys. Although I believe Gene Chizik is a good man, he is not a good head coach. He has shown that with allowing every Tom, Dick, and Harry to worm their way into the football program and give their 2 cents. This is evident with ol' TJ having his own play calling sheet. Gogue apparently is leaning towards keeping Jay Jacobs even though we are only good at Swimming and Equestrian sports right now. Trooper and Luper are dividing the team and not allowing for any cohesiveness. The one bright spot, BVG, had to drown his sorrows the night before the A&M game because he knew the kids had given up. I have a feeling JJ, TJ, and GC will all remain and perhaps the one person that can be left with very little blame, Loeffler, will get fired.

I will be the other guys...

I have hope that we will get rid of J. Jacobs... I finally took a deep breath, spoke with someone in authority, and thought about it for a minute.

J. Jacobs, TJ are pulling out all the stops in an effort to save their jobs, this includes: putting out information that JJ may save his job, Dye's call on Friday, JJ now willing to replace Chizik, opening up practice, taking TJ off the field, TJ begging for his job, etc...

JJ/Dye is reminding folks that he has made ONE bad hire and compares himself to Mal Moore and Mal's hiring of Saban.... I think Jay has told Dr. G. that he can bring in a BIG time coach. Dr. G. has gotten some assurances that this coach will come and work for Jay.

I hope this would be true. Can JJ hire a big time coach if he stays? Will he let the coach have full control?

If the President is needing assurances that a HC is willing to come in and work with your fricking AD, then that should tell him everything he needs to know about how incompetent his current AD is. Chizik was willing to come in and work with JJ too. Look how well that turned out.
