Oh, and if I read the list correctly, nationally that puts Gus at 32nd highest.

Oh, and the basketball team is going to Maui.

I don't understand. I guess Kentucky was thinking somebody was going to steal him?

Stoops is doing the best he can with what he has at UK. It's imperative that he get to a bowl this year though.

My nephew is working his way through the coaching ranks right now.

His first job after GA was as an OC at a DIII and made 80K yr

He is now a WR coach at an FCS D1 school making around 125,000.00. In his fourth year after being a GA.

He said they are busy as hell all of the time and traveling for recruiting, but loves working with the players and developing a program.

Playing and coaching has paid for his education up to having a masters degree. The money is crazy in CFB.

I have a good friend who has the almost exact same resume and has been with his current FCS as RB coach for the last 3 years. It's a private school so don't know if that makes a difference but I don't think he's making that kind of money. And he does work his arse off. But still it's a labor of love - I'd kill to Be able to work with young adults in that kind of setting.

New information had come to light that shows while indeed Jay Jacobs is a hick moron, he might not be the worst AD in the nation.

Depends on which private school.

Notre Dame I am sure, pays more than The Citadel.
