We needed a few breaks. We got a few. We needed Gus to call a perfect game. He did not do that. We needed JJ not to be a total retard. That did not happen.
Defense played well but missed too many tackle behind the line when we needed them. There was no stopping Henry. Be we needed to limit him.
A few big plays that cost us was the 3rd and retard Gus called. Carl and Cowats herp derp on the bama QB and the bad late hit call. We could have had the ball with 2 and a half mins left down 6. But the bad call put us down 9.
Of course, missing the FG didn't help.

Fact is Gus can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite and that what JJ has been this year kid just does not have it.

Agree.. But his play calling cost us a few games this year. He has really hurt us almost every game.
We do not have the QB on roster that we need. I know a lot of people love White but his is certainly not the answer to the Auburn QB position. We need a different style of QB and hopefully, we can find him soon.

He was pissed because it was a BS call especially in light of the fact he only escaped because of a really blatant hold on Lawson. It was at a critical part of the game too.
He probably also saw Saban bump an official while yelling at him earlier and only get a warning so he thought he was entitled to a few choice words.

I can't totally blame Gus today because he is just so limited with what he can do with our personnel but we totally got away from running and Jovon again in the second half.

This offense is capable of working with a PP with average speed, but Gus has not clue how to pull it off. I love Sean White but Gus isn't capable of making this offense work consistently without someone that can really hurt a team running.

I still disagree with this. He cannot get the offense to work with a qb who cannot run or pass.
Now you can say that is on the coach for development/evaluation --- but no one saw how bad JJ would be.

If you go back and read my post three months ago, it is exactly what you just said. It has nothing to do with Sean. It is the style of offense that Gus is capable of running. He gets too retard when we try too much. He needs to keep it simple like we did in 2013-2014. Just simple with limited retard

Yep. No offense works if you miss wide open plays. If the QB doesn't run, he has to be able to pass efficiently and hit the big play. If he can't run and can't hit passes, of course the offense will suffer

Even in the past though when we've had a guy that can throw we still have a lot of trouble with above average defenses. His offenses have been at their best when you have a guy that runs well at QB.

Yes... Yes they have. If we want to be competitive, we can use White or a QB like him. If we want to win championships, we need a mobile guy

Meanwhile, Jovon had 4 carries in the second half against Georgia, 0 against Idaho, and 2 second half carries against Bama.
