Because we could block a FG and run it back.

Yeah I realize that but we still would have to recovered an onside kick and kick a field goal with about 30 seconds

Going for it there was the move any coach with half a brain should have done.

Thankfully the Hawks play in an hour. JJ is our Kato Kaelin. That is all.

You know, because he's such a great guy. If anyone gets that reference, I'll send you $100.

I mean they had one TD on offense and it was after we donkeyed multiple chances for sacks on two different plays.

We dropped the easiest pick 6 six in history that led to three points.

Got F'd on the penalty drive.

They got a FG on the drive when they didn't review the obvious lateral that would have made it 2nd and 16.

We missed a fairly easy TD pass.

We missed a FG

They made a 48 and 50 yard FG.

So many chances to win this game, so frustrating.

I will grant on the other hand our TD was fortunate but we knew we would need a play or two like that to win.

We just didn't make plays. Dropped a pick six, then forgot how to tackle Coker and they scored a TD.

This is a game we had a chance in throughout. Not too bad, considering our shaky qb and wr play.

Did AUtigR24 decide to stop updating the OP? Kick him off the board

Whoever is the QB coach, should be fired before the Bham bowl. JJ should transfer to La. Tech. Sean White needs to rehire his private QB coach.

We had a lot of opportunities. We got the one lucky catch but missed out on too many opportunities to beat a solid team...

Yeah, I do not get that. I get you think White is not the answer(I disagree), but it is not like you have been advocating for JJ === just a mobile qb.

I used to think that this board melted hard. Muschamp showed that he could kick our arse in melting down. Explain to me why Muschamo was so pissed. It couldn't have been just that penalty on the sideline that caused him to lose his mind.

Because we had stopped Alabama and that late hit penalty basically changed the game. our kids had worked too hard at that point for the refs to give Alabama easy points.

I hate it he got the penalty but Im glad he just didn't sit there

I don't think it was a late hit. He looked like he was slipping and it was a questionable call at best. Fact is we lost but the defense is showing signs and I hope Boom is here next year.

This exactly.

To win this one, we needed some turnovers.

Close a few times but no cigar.

Overall though, I thought the O-line played well and we ran probably better than almost anyone on Alabama. Defense looks so much better than the LSU game.

Not a good season at all, but if the D continues to improve and we get some kind of difference maker at qb and the future looks good.
