I use to hate the first few days of practice. Head hurting from my tight helmet but once you get use to it it's gone. And black and blue forearms again after a week you don't bruise anymore. Man I miss knocking the living hell out if people for a small white boy I was actually pretty damn good

We will need details before we believe you.

I remember those assholes not letting us drink water. What was the matter with those guys? Surprised we didn't have people pass out and die.

Gotta agree with Cole on this one.

Can we use this as the fall practice thread?

I've been saying he's really special since his junior year in high school. Kid needs to hurry up and prove me right.

Story lines to follow this fall:

- Special teams: Punter, PR/KR

- Will Thomas beat out Robinson at tailback / what's the work load going to be for both backs

- Does Kozan pick up where he left off / Can Shon Coleman take his play to the next level (going to be 24 y/o this fall)?

- How fast can Cowart break into the starting lineup (how long did it take Lawson?)

- How do the coaches get Tre Williams on the field more

Yeah.

I'll update the OP when practice kicks off.

I really hope we run a decent amount of plays with them both in the backfield on either side of JJ.

I lean toward that way of thinking too. Unless someone just separates themself early like Tre Mason did in '13 then I like the split carry approach

There are just so many plays we can run out of that one formation. How a defense will scheme against it, I don't know.

Possibly. But we know absolutely nothing about Robinson. He played in the spring game but did not really impress. Coaches like him

My fear with Roc is that spin move. It could eventually get him crushed. I like his open field running. Hopefully, we can create some space for him

I think the running back position is going to be interesting. Even with Barber, who I really like, it could be a 3 way battle for real
