Atlanta has some great breweries.
Wild Heaven's Ode to Mercy is my favorite. One of the founders of Wild Heaven is an AU grad.

I've been on a bit of a Straight to Ale kick lately. Monkeynaut and Brother Joseph mainly.

I don't feel bad. The fridge usually makes me feel pretty good.

This is the truth. Funny story, a few years ago a friend of mine who lives in New Zealand came up to visit family. We sat at Ontap in Hoover for several hours drinking Vanillaphants. When we got our tab we couldn't figure out how we had spent over a hundred dollars on beer. Turns out those delicious frickers were 10 dollars apiece. They're still not cheap but the price has come down somewhat.

I got my hands on Bell's 30th anniversary stout this weekend and it was excellent.

Not a craft beer (I cant haz, none on this island) but if any of you ever come to the Philippines, try this shite. Malt Liquor and Beer, destruction. Helps with the Auburn games during seasons like this. It's also like $1.50 for a Liter.

Nice. What's the color like? Golden/Amber/Brown/Black?
Posted on 10/26/15 at 12:00 pm to TheJones
Golden, pale, foam disappears fast, it's surprisingly smooth with bitterness, some spicy hops in there and hides the alcohol well. I was surprised. Nothing to rave about but not a bad deployment beer.
I buy a bunch for my enlisted on Saturdays after work if they worked hard that week. We're not supposed to drink in uniform or at the job site but ehhhh I'm the OIC and no ones watching all the way out here.

That's cool, man. There are several non craft beers that I'll always enjoy drinking. Modelo, Michelob original lager, and Foster's premium ale to name a few

Those are all good deals. I'll hit that Fosters if it's available. I've had pretty good luck with a selection of craft beers living in NY, Auburn, and SoCal. Gotta say those Canadian regular Joe beers aren't bad either.
