Well this is the dumbest post ever. Coaches were spread out amongst different schools.

Was meant to give the fanbase hope. It clearly failed with CPA.

While the thread is still not really relevant, he didn't include all the players drafted at each school just the ones our coaches coached.

the original post means didley squat, especially comparing to Alabama. Why does everything have to be compared to Alabama?

It's a 2 part answer. 1. Unfortunately they are the Gold Standard right now so most things, especially when you are the other in state school are compared to them. And 2. Many in the Auburn fanbase has a red headed step child mentality as Auburn is to Bama so they want to see anything where things are scewed in Auburn's favor.

Boom. Auburn isn't the only place right now where people compare the program to Bama.

The biggest indictment on Chizik during his time at Auburn?

If you don't include Fairley -- I don't because Fairley was almost surely going to come here regardless of who the coach was -- only one defensive recruit under Chizik has been drafted (Lemonier). This covers the 2009-2012 recruiting classes.

I know this isn't a final tally since there are a few classes worth of recruits that are yet to be draft-eligible, but that's just pathetic. And any Chizik-recruited defensive player that may get drafted in the future is going to get there because they were developed by the new staff.

Pretty embarrassing.

I think the post is fine. It is assistant/position coaches that develope kids for the next level and we have a very solid group. Very.

Not me. I still think we are bama's daddy. We have been most of my life and that is all I really care about.

Looks like CPA has turned over a new leaf to make sure he isn't banned again.

I noted in another thread that Craig has two NFL starting QB's: Christian Ponder and EJ Manuel. We also have the obvious Cam connection with Malzahn and Lashlee. We also have a tenuos claim to Jason Campbell who I expect to beat out Ol' Man Weeden and Colt McCoy in Cleaveland.

We could be looking at 4 NFL QB's as starters with Auburn connections which should really help in recruiting a position of great need

Correction, we had two non Fairley defensive draft picks

Zach Clayton went in the 7th round
