That like last year, the offense finds its identity and hits its stride in the next game or two.

Something needs to change on OL.

With our defense we can still win a lot of games.

Will win Mercer
Mizzou's defense is atrocious
All Ms State has is Fitzgerald
Ole Miss' defense is atrocious. We also get them after they go to Cal and to Bama
LSU - this will be our next true test. If we lose here, we'll lose UGA and Bama and will once again be 8-5.
We'll win Arkansas, A&M and LA Monroe because of our defense.

Goods coaches can mask their issues while the find an identity, or get one in the 7 month long off season.

The offense didn't find an identity we just played terrible defenses. As soon as we got back top playing good teams we stopped scoring and barely made first downs again.

I'd hate to see Gus luck into more wins than he deserves, that guy has got to go.

That's the truth.

Gus is good about exploiting other teams' weaknesses. But Auburn annually plays one of the toughest schedules in the country. We're going to play four or five teams a year with very few weaknesses and the Gus offense since 2015 has been obliterated by those teams.

Until a coach somewhere down at auburn teaches quarterbacks to step up in the pocket and deliver the ball when they feel pressure, this team and this offense is going nowhere. Sure the line is struggling, but for god sakes don't make it harder on your tackles by constantly bailing out of the pocket laterally. Step up and give those guys a chance.

It also makes it incredibly easy for the secondary to cover your recievers when they only half to cover half the field because you are constantly making throws from outside the hash marks because you won't stand in the pocket.

And another thing, we have zero quick, short yardage passing game. I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've seen a quick slant since Gus has been at Auburn. Anyone seen a quick seam route in the past decade at auburn? How about a quick pass to the running back coming out of the backfield? Every pass play we run consists of 15 to 20 routes. The best offense against their quick line last night would have been to eat them up in the short yardage passing game, not long developing pass plays that don't stand a chance because your qb is running for his life on every play.

Last year we hit our stride when we accidentally discovered who was the best RB on the team and played the middle to lower tier SEC teams. Then KP got injured against Vandy and we got to UGA and we saw a performance strikingly similar to last night.
