City Grill

Jubilee Seafood

Charles Anthony Pub

Those are essentially your high end spots in Montgomery. In that order IMO

Second Jubilee.

It's not "nice" but El Rey is an awesome non-traditional Mexican place. Great margs.

Someone told me to look at La Jolla and Central Grill. Any thoughts on these two?

Websites for both seem acceptable for what I'm looking for

La Jolla used to be in the spot that is now Blackfinn. Blackfinn is more like a sports pub.

I just checked the site. Honestly did not know La Jolla was opened up in the Pepper tree spot. I only went there once or twice when it was in Eastchase.

Central is good. Downtown spot. I forgot about them initially.

My recommendation is City Grill in Hampstead. It's off Taylor Road. That place is fantastic. I have had great food there every time. You won't regret it.

If you're in the mood for Thai, try Lek's. It's in the train depot.

Your friend told you correctly, but be sure to make a reservation.

La Jolla moved and is on Vaugh Road near Taylor.

Central is great (Downtown)

City Grill

Jubilee Seafood (Not as fancy, but great food, does not take reservations)
