Or it could be that he has no friends except what he has on the board. Hard to live in an area where you are different and don't have any friends or if you do you can't hang out with them because they live farther away and you don't have transpo to go over to see them.

Yeah, his parents (or guardian may be more accurate) need to lock him outdoors for an hour, or two a day. He needs actual human interaction on some level.
