Anybody else hearing that he passed away? Just woke up to a text from a friend and all I can find is a premium post on Auburn's 247 forum. He was 35.
Also found it on something called auburnsidelinepass. Sorry, didn't know if I should link to those

He played at St Jude, a very small high school, in Montgomery.
I remember when he signed with Auburn, he was a first team all state for class 1A.
May he rest in peace.

Also a team-mate of his passed away..
former Auburn football center James Kiger was killed early Friday morning when the Ford pickup truck he was driving struck a guardrail and overturned near Ozark.
Dale County coroner Woodrow Hilbold pronounced Kiger dead at the scene.
Kiger, 40, was not wearing a seat belt when the crash happened around 1:15 a.m.
Terry Bowden, Kiger's coach at Auburn expressed his condolences.
KIger, from Daleville, lettered at Auburn in 1995 and 1996. He was a teammate of current Auburn assistant Dameyune Craig.

I remember Monreko was a big ole kid, a little soft looking, when he started at AU. But by his jr year he was a good OL. He played hard and seemed to be a good guy. Sad to pass away that young

The Lord must be planning a ballgame in Heaven because he just called home two fine Auburn men. May they R.I.P.
