My dad passed away after a long battle with heart disease. He was a sidewalk fan from way back having to work in the family business and go to Vietnam. He did manage to put several sons through Auburn and has a grandson there now.

Auburn was one of his greatest loves and having his children graduate from there was one of the first things he told people when he met them. If y'all have a minute today, please send one up for the family. It's been tough.

In remarkably few words you've painted a portrait of one hell of a man. I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Thoughts are with ya, man. I recently lost my grand dad to congestive heart failure, so I can understand how bad it can get. Message to all of you guys on the board: take care of yourselves and get regular check ups.

Hope the Tigers play a good season for your pops. War Damn Eagle and stay strong, man.

Prayers for the family that you find comfort during this difficult time.

Even in the brief description, your Dad had a great life and made a huge impact. I lost my Dad and still to this day, tell him War Eagle every game day. War Eagle to your Dad.
