Run-run-incomplete-punt.

Constantly.

With 5:00 left in the 4th quarter and Carolina behind, Cam Newton had thrown 4 passes in the 2nd half.

Four.

Passes.

In an NFL designed by rule in the present day to THROW THE DAMN BALL.

I swear to gosh, the football gods are trying to fugging kill me.

The whole game was weird on Carolinas side. Pretty lethargic effort after the first quarter, and shockingly conservative play calling.

From the 2nd half kick-off to 5:00 left in the game, Cam had 4 pass attempts (in addition to multiple sacks).

And Shula kept running everything deep no matter what when he did decide to throw.

Good coaches adjust to this simpleton and then he's utterly confused as to what to do about it.

Shula sucks. Been saying for a while he is holding Cam back.

Shula's Superbowl plan was awful. He should have established Cam running the ball early in that game.

And now Denver (again) and Minnesota have used that *same* defensive gameplan successfully against Carolina.

And Shula has yet to adjust.

Damn, are Shula and Gus twins?
