Here is our class. What do we think we will do with these kids with what we know now. Obviously it will take the coaching staff some time to figure it out during live practice but there has to be some thoughts now

Jarrett Stidham (QB) - We have to believe he will compete for the starting job in 2017

Nick Brahms (OG) - Redshirt?

Malcolm Askew (Ath) -

Kenney Britt (ILB) -

Salvatore Cannella (TE) -

Chandler Wooten (OLB) -

Malik Willis (Ath) - DT quarterback in high school - Probably redshirt - Position change?

Calvin Ashley (OT) - Redshirt?

Devan Barrett (Ath) - Redshirt probable? Needs to add some weight

Markaviest Bryant - Should add depth at buck - Compete for playing time immediately - Needs to add some pounds

Austin Troxell (OT) -

Alaric Williams (Ath) - ?

Noah Igbinoghene (WR) - Will need a last name change. No way any of us can pronounce it

Carlito Gonzalez (S) - Could compete for playing time in 2017

Tyrone Truesdell (DL) - Has the size, could see the field in 2017

Jatarvious Whitlow (Ath) -

Alec Jackson (DT) - Could see his way in the rotation at DL

Jordyn Peters (S) -

Traivon Leonard (CB) -

Anders Carlson (K) - Will wipe the sweat off Legatrons forehead and line up the bitches for him

John Samuel Shenker (TE) - In charge of Brannigans thoughts

Bill Taylor (LS) - Do we currently have a long snapper?

I can only make uneducated assumptions on a few. Lets figure out what we should do with these guys. I will fill in the blanks and fax it over to coach Malzahn pronto.

What you got?

I would not think he will play over James but

Mix
Prince Tega
Prince Sammons

Are you thinking he could play over one of these. We really do not know anything about any of them. You would think there is a outlet for Ashley to make a spot

Unless Jame improves significantly at PP...which is certainly possible...I hope someone else is starting at left tackle.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ashley is strictly goal line package. Heard that his run blocking was there but his pass blocking isn't yet.

Deon Mix isn't an OT I don't think

Maybe we moved James to RT and let one of Sammons/Tega get LT

I think CPA pretty much nailed it.

Injuries always shake things up... A guy like Jackson could get some playing time, but he's probably slated for a RS at this time.

I had read something where he was possibly moving from guard to tackle. Not sure though

May be true, just have a hard time believing an OG can be a better pass blocker than James at OT who has experience + more work to fix his issues

Could obviously be wrong but I'd take my chances with James over Mix

You may have misread my post Chin. I said I didnt think he would play over James but that he may be in play for the other side. Sorry if that was confusing.

I think James is set unless he gets injured or someone comes on strong. The other side could be interesting. But who knows .

I would not count out Leonard too quickly. I think he is underrated due to a minor injury.

He has bulked up. Is a very good tackler in space. He could be a contender.

Off of nothing but a gut feeling, I think Willis leaves his mark here once his time comes
