Some guys are having a great start to the season and some guys are showing what they have.

Tray Matthews is playing out there. He is knocking the shite out of guys out there and is moving all over the field making plays. Love it..

Trey Williams is playing linebacker. I know he didn't play yesterday but he has played very well all year. McBride came in there yesterday and knocked the shite out of some guys. He looked very good

Jeff Holland? Do we even need to discuss him? Dude is becoming a beast and his shite talking game may be the best on the team. There is not a play that goes by where he is not in the face of someone.

Dinson? Yep

Stidham - Getting better and showing what we have in him. He is not making a lot of mistakes with the ball and is spreading it around well. I like where he is right now. He doesn't see the entire field like he should but its getting there. Patience

KJ and Pettway - I know they are both injured so they get a pass but both have been a little meh for most of the year. No big runs since game one. Just doing the dirty work

Chip Lindsey - I am worried that our only red zone play is the wildcat. Worries me

This is concerning. I feel it's an OL problem though. We just can't run, with any authority, between the tackles. It does seem the OL play is improving, but it needs to get a lot better, IMO.

This is the best starting 3 at linebacker that Auburn has had in a while.

Darrell Williams
Tre Williams
Deshaun Davis

All are making plays.

Kam Martin has looked good when given opportunities.

I'm not advocating him being an every down back but he needs to get some carries in every game

Dinson is a liability in the secondary. Neiko Thorpe Award frontrunner

He needs to be the COP. It doesn’t appear Kerryon Johnson nor Kam Pettway can be gamebreakers in terms of speed.

Totally agree. He looks very fast. He needs 10 carries a game...

I left out Will Hastings. I know some will laugh but that kid is playing well. He gets open, he catches the ball, he hasn't fumbled it. He is a little fricker but he is hard to cover and catches the damn ball.

I think lil white boy Hastings is a baller. Had some good balls yesterday. Sort of like a hobbit. People dont see him if they aint looking for him.

I want to see more Devan Barrett. He seems explosive. Stove has the potential to be a weapon. Jeff Holland is an old school AU D guy. Honestly, the only two areas I have been aggravated at is QB and RB. JS seems to be trending positive. Kam Pett won't holdup the season. Neither will KJ. We need to get some more guys involved.

yep

And because we ran it successfully against a bad team we will run it multiple times against a good/great team without success leading me to drink more

I agree. I know they were winning a game last night but I would like to see some other redzone plays. Rolling Stidham out and throwing to a back or TE would make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Yea, Im not sure that is possible for me right now.

I don’t think you remember how bad Neiko Thorpe was as a coverage cornerback. He was awful. You could throw at him, at any time, and complete a pass.

Nieko played in the league, so he must not have been that horrible.

Special teams. He was always a good tackler. Notice he only sees the field on defense in mop up duty.

ETA: Even Brandon King, who wasn’t good enough to start at Auburn, played special teams in the NFL.

Chandler Cox is terrible and does not block at all half the time. But he is playing because Gus likes him.

I am going to somewhat agree with you. IF you just focus on him a few plays, his blocking is not good. He misses a ton of blocks. He needs to improve

And yet he is still in the NFL

He also had to defends some of the best NFL Wrs to come out of the SEC in recent memory.

Dinson gave a 12 yard cushion all night and got burned on multiple deep routes where the Missouri WR either didn't find the ball or dropped it.

My bad for being negatiger, but I was really frustrated watching it
