Blake Anderson to Waco?

Could open up a lot of possibilities.

So Lashlee leaves and we bring in Kendell Briles. How long should we expect KB to stay? We could be right back to Gus going full retard playcalling to open the 2018 season against Washington.

With the smoke around that family, no one would touch him for HC for at least a couple years. You can hide behind Gus as OC but HCs are faces of your program. No team wants that PR nightmare

I thought someone posted that our compliance department would not go along with hiring Briles?

We're talking about Kendal, not Art

I would just as soon keep Lashlee as bring in Briles. Lashlee had the O looking like a fine tuned machine until a couple of key injuries derailed it.

Kendall has been interviewed by NCAA for rumored cruitin' violations Nino.

Kendall Pros
-Potentially can run his dads offense

Kendall Cons
-Stigma over rape scandal
-Potential NCAA recruiting issues
-Only 2 total years experience as QB coach
-Never coached at high level without pops

The talk going around is that our power-hungry compliance guy won't clear Kendal either (who also has been interviewed by the NCAA regarding recruiting violations).

I'm not sold on Briles Jr being shite without daddy. Baylor's offense took a huge step back this year

Add to that the rapey stuff and cheating and flat bill hats, and I can't believe I'm saying this but I think we are better off with Rhett

I know, but it hasn't stopped us before. Bruce, Trooper, Luper, etc

-Potentially can run his dads offense
Brings in Stidham, a talented QB that he's very familiar with.
quote:

-Stigma over rape scandal
He won't be in the limelight as an OC, and since there has been no indication he was in any way involved, I think it'll blow over
quote:

-Potential NCAA recruiting issues
Likely an issue of improper contact. He was Big 12 recruiter of the year. Willing to take the risk
quote:

-Only 2 total years experience as QB coach
True, but we've hired coaches with a similar resume
quote:

-Never coached at high level without pops
Rhett has less than a year without Gus

I'm fine with Rhett staying, but if ASU hires him as an HC, I'd want us to take a serious look at Kendal

Kendall has some shady recruiting stuff around him, compliance probably wouldn't let it happen.

We don't need K Briles to bring Stidham. It's been reported Rhett has a very good relationship with him

I want K Briles in the event that Rhett is hired away

Would Stidham have 3 years of eligibility?
