Lashlee isn't the issue that you want him to be.

He might mot be the issue with playcalling, but I suspect he's not doing a very good job with the QBs. I'd much rather see DC coaching the QBs.

I want him to stay. We need to keep Narcisse and Gatewood.

I've wondered this season if the coaches on the offensive side have suffered from groupthink. It's a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people, in which the desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome. Group members try to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation of alternative viewpoints, by actively suppressing dissenting viewpoints, and by isolating themselves from outside influences.

This might make sense seeing as how long Gus and Rhett have known each other.

Wish him the best, but I don't think Rhett is ready to be a HC.

I could actually see Lashlee being good HC despite his questionable OC abilities. He might be just what Tulane needs, he's young and a great recruiter and I think he could do well there.

Why? What in the past makes you think or know DC would be a good OC? I am a DC fan, but for being OC...then i need more relevent info..

DC coaching QB's under Jimbo is to Rhett Lashlee being OC under Gus.
