Oh well, not like we run plays that involved throwing to him or Nate Craig Myers. Leave it to us to make busts out of all our top talent.

I wouldn't even consider Auburn if I were Justyn Ross

I will admit, I am early 40s and went to school in the heart of Atlanta, so I don't know much about what is going on in the suburbs with kids these days...

But, how the hell does an 18/19 year old kid get addicted to cocaine? Is it really that easy to score? What would make a kid decide he wants to do coke as opposed to weed/pills?

Lol he is not addicted to cocaine. He just isn't very mature and doesn't turn down a chance to party.

I spent my last three years at Auburn in a relatively nice apartment down Donahue, and one night about seven or eight months in I got to witness the DEA bust into our neighbor's apartment and arrest them for what we found out later was cocaine trafficking.

(ETA: "relatively nice" = not Garden District )

See, the first part is what really surprises me. I lived in that area from 2011-2015. We were closer to Grayson, but kids in our neighborhood went to Archer. I never would have expected that level of drug availability in the schools. But I may be naïve - as I said I have been out of high school nearly 25 years.

I can see it being more readily available in a college town because you have people from all over, and a much larger student population, but again thinking back on my days at AU, it seemed like people were much more likely to be into (or selling) weed and maybe some acid and some pills. I never would have thought of there being a big enough demand for coke, heroin, etc.

There were some dudes on the football team and when I was in school way back in the day that freaking loved to party. Cocaine, ecstasy, weed, you name it. And they would ball out on Saturdays. 4 SEC championships in 7 years. But those were the Dye years when we kept it down home, cuz. If Gus wants choirboys, he needs to go back to high school. Hell he needs to go back to high school anyway...
