Kerryon's running style has evolved this year and he's running a lot like Kenny Irons with physicality. Hamstring clearly still bother him but if he can get back he could be a monster moving forward

Am I the only one who can't even enjoy his long runs because every time he breaks into the open I'm just waiting for his hammy to pop at any second?

Probably. He is doing fine. For him, he is doing well. Dude is always going to have some kind of injury.

Irons was a beast. I still remember him going HAM against South Carolina.

It's nostalgia. I love both guys but Kerryon has really turned into a complete back. Were it not for his ability to get yards with little blocking, we'd be in big trouble right now (ole miss not withstanding).

Yeah he was. He was all like "Imma put 200 on LSU." Reporter was like "lol, wut?" He worked them that next game.

& to think we lost that game. I was 10 & remember freaking out after all of the missed field goals. Sad way to lose after Kenny's performance.

My favorite Kenny Irons "moment" was when he looked at the camera during Tiger Walk in Baton Rouge and said, "I'm gonna run for 200." Then he backed it up.

Too bad are kicker sucked arse that night.

Kenny goes for 200+

He's going to be so much better if Pettway can get right

Yep. Pett and Kerryon come back for their senior seasons and both rush for 1000 yards en route to Auburns 4th National Championship.

If we are going to play the compare to a former AU back, I would say Brad Lester. I don't think either is quite in Kenny's class

Irons had one speed at that was wide open. His running style was so physical because when he hit or got hit he was usually at full speed. I like Kerryon a lot but they're very different. Kerryon has more Laveon Bell in him and by that I mean he's super patient behind the LOS. Sometimes to the point where he's just jogging in the backfield until he chooses a whole.
