That's really not a bad reel. I wish there was a TD pass and a pick6 mixed in there, but still pretty solid overall.

Countess missed a perfect opportunity for that.

Thanks for posting.

Question for anyone who understands QB fundamentals better than I do:

Would you consider White's fundamentals "bad" (for lack of a better term) in the very first play in the highlight video? The only reason I ask is because he never seems to plant his feet, or if he does it's only briefly while making his reads.

This is not an indictment on White's game AT ALL. I'm just curious because it looked like a little bit of happy feet. And if anything was probably nerves - big 3rd down play, first road start, etc.

Damn just noticed Chandler Cox totally wiffed on his block when White had to step up in the pocket to hit Ricardo. Heads up play by White.

Actually what he is doing is correct fundamentals. He keeps his feet moving to keep his body moving through his progressions. As a qb, you never wanna have dead feet.

Thanks.

So how does that differ from "happy feet"

Happy feet would be when you are not comfortable in the pocket and you look for the first opportunity to take off running. An example would be a qb that has good protection and instead of standing in the pocket he scrambles around in or outside of the pocket when he doesn't need to.

I don't think that was his only wiff. There was one on a sack too.

I just realized we led the entire time in an SEC road game on a Thursday night. That makes me feel really good inside.

We never trailed... but the game was tied for a while in the first quarter.

Well, yeah. Technically you can't lead an entire game because both scores start at 0. You catch my drift.

When was the last time Auburn never trailed during an SEC road game?

Maybe the last one we won?...

We scored first against ole miss... not sure we ever actually trailed in that game

Never mind. Just looked it up... we trailed a bunch

Check out the "blocking" on #95 Dontavius Russell at 1:49.

At 1:53 mark Monty takes on a double team and still makes the rb change direction and hesitate allowing others to tackle him at LOS

It's sad seeing that all it takes is doubling one lineman. Russell has shown flashes, but that's about it.

Also can we get our money back for those "unholdable" jerseys

You're taught to keep your feet moving, but your shoulders need to be square....not throwing on your back foot across your body
