Muschamp told him he didn't fit in? Arms too short and hands too small?

The thing that gets me about these kinds of transfers is that kids will transfer to a lower classification school for playing time, but forget they also will (hopefully) get a degree from a lesser school.

Im proud of that diploma that says Auburn on it that hangs on my wall. I'd hate to give so much to a place and not get the degree unless I had a serious shot at the NFL.

That seems to be a major problem though, they don't give a shite about the degree at the end of the day. At least a big chunk of them don't. That is why there is so much complaining about paying these kids money, they don't see the value in their scholarship. Let them work 25 to 40 hours a week and have student loans to go to college and see if they still think that there is no value in the scholarship that they have.

Hope he succeeds wherever he transfers. If I had to guess I'd put my money on Troy since he's from Dothan.

All depends where you transfer, if these kids were smart they would try and transfer up in academics too.

If you aren't making the league, I would try to get a top 20 education

Certainly wish him the best.

The advice about the diploma is sound though. Mine has been worth over $1M in earnings so far. I wouldn't have been able to land the jobs I have without it or with one that was not well respected.

I'll reserve judgement until we know where he's going. If he's good, the NFL will find him.

He was 6th on the depth chart which includes behind a guy w/ a blown out knee who is rehabbing well & a walk on. That's before the 4 new corners come in next week.

The frick is up with the downvotes?

For lurking gumps: I would like to add the advice given concerning getting a diploma doesn't necessarily extend to Bama players. A Bama diploma can help if one runs out of toilet paper, but doesn't necessarily mean a lot in many other circumstances.
