You must be Tyler's dad...also just because he starts does not mean he is good. That GayBlade John Sullen started for 2 years. Chad Slade started for 4 years

People focus on Jake Holland for some reason but the truth is, he pales in comparison to Chad Slade.

In that regard I feel bad for the kids he teaches.

No fn way. Chad was a solid last season, and good in 2013. He got better from year to year.

Jake sucked every year

I actually like Gadsden a lot. Its on one of my favorite lakes (Neely Henry) and it's also within an hours drive of two of my other favorite lakes: Weiss and Guntersville. Back Forty brewery is there and its close to Chattanooga. My mom's people are from there.

Back in the day Goodyear and Republic Steel were big employers in Gadsden. I played the Goodyear golf course years ago and wonder if it is still around.

It's actually gone.. They've recently built a gander mountain and several other stores in it's place... Across the river the built another golf course, twin bridges, and it's a pretty nice course that edges the Coosa. Gadsden's a pretty nice little city for the most part, especially if you enjoy the river..

Yeah Slade was bad but at least he did enough in 2013 to not ruin everything. I can't say the same for Jake Holland at any point in his career...

But yeah, I really like Carr and this whole OL class we just signed. No superstars like we've signed in the recent past, but this whole group seems hard working and smart and like they could all play together here together for 5 years.

Clearly you must not know who Chad Slade is because he in no way was "solid." It is hard to be bullrushed as an OG and consistently get pushed back into the QB but Slade pulled it off

Going from absolutely shouldn't start to really shouldn't start still means you shouldn't have started

While Jake sucked, our defense at least got consistently lined up and we rarely seemed to have straight up coverage busts in comparison to say this year with Cass/Frost running the show.

Gadsden doesn't have a gym to write home about. Caddilac's step dad ran a gym on broad street but I think that gym closed down. Absolute Fitness in Rainbow city is pretty nice though.

It's been bugging me for a long time who brannigan reminds me of and I've finally figured it out: He's Pierce from Community
