Mine was AU vs Houston in 1964 with my Dad.
I'm sure most of you went to your first game with your father -- one of the great things about college football in the south - tailgating, kids playing touch in the parking lot -- imagining they are the stars of the day (I was Tucker Fredrickson!) Dayum I am ready for some football!

First game as an AU student was 1979. Dont remember who. I grew up in Georgia and saw AU vs UGA and AU vs Ga Tech a few times but not as an AU fan at that time. My parents were either for Georgia or for GT depending on which side of the family.

That was a shitty game. USC was so good they beat us twice. We were still brain cramped over it when we went to Ga Tech and got beat there as well. Jason Campbell played like shite in both games.

yeah those USC and GT games were painful -- seems like we could have beat them, but just couldn't get it together. I'm convinced the USC games kept us out of the 2004 BSC

Your parents wasted an SECCG ticket on a 3 year old?

My dad went to Miss. St., so I grew up a Miss St fan. My first AU game was AU at Miss St in 1982.

Bo Jackson and team kicked the shite out of MSU.

Wasn't raised an Auburn fan, so when I started going to school there in 2009. Louisiana Tech was the first game that season.

1998 Auburn vs La Tech. One of the 3 wins that year, Bill Oliver was the head coach.

My son had a much better first game. Arkansas State 2010, Cam Newton's first game at AU.

2012 vs Clemson. That was my freshman year and I was never big into college football until I went to Auburn. I didn't get to see my first good game until the following year :/

The first Auburn game I remember going to is the 1994 LSU game. However, I had no idea what a classic that game was.
