What's the story there? Specifically if anyone knows the poor circumstances under which muschamp reportedly left?

Something about tickets for his family if I recall. That then snowballed when re-negotiating contract?

I think it was bowl game tickets for something. JJ I guess left him out to dry. From the very little I've heard people discuss, JJ boned him and then dug his feet in the ground instead of making concessions for his screwup

I could be wrong, but wasn't Muschamp very close to being hired as HC prior to Chizik? Then backed out at the last minute because both parties were back channeling? I think Muschamp would take the job if it becomes open and he is offered.

IIRC, we were in the chickfila bowl in atl and Boom asked for more than his usual allotment for his family. He has a bunch bc he is from the area. I think he got 12, but wanted 20 or something like that. JJ told him no. Muschamp called his agent and said get me out of here after the bowl game.

This is what worries me about Muschamp, he bleeds easily, on the sideline, coaching.

That said if Gus wants him, JJ better get him.

I came in here thinking this was the fappage thread for the thought of having JJ at QB next year and Muschamp running the defense. Not enough lube in the world.

I wonder if the "I'm with the right orange and blue team" quote will come back to haunt him.

Not nearly as much as his abysmal failure to field an offense.

If we can get Tuberville after his 'pine box' quote, that shouldn't really affect a Muschamp hiring decision

I have a hard time believing this. An athletic director lost a DC over $1600 worth of tickets?
