Has anyone attended a game in one of them? It seems that being enclosed would drastically alter the experience. Anyone have experience with attending a game in one of them?

I was in one once for the A-Day game 5 or 6 years ago and it was pretty cool, you are way above the field so things look weird but there was a TV in there that was streamed straight from the jumbotron so you could always turn to that if you wanted. That was a while ago though idk how much it's changed since then.

A friend of mine got invited to sit in one of the suites and that is all we heard for a week.

He sat there and said every one in the suite would "golf clap" a good play and he was a vocal guy and got lots of looks.

I've sat in one that was definitely more lively than that, but I'm pretty vocal too, so it was not my scene. They are definitely nice and being able to have alcohol that wasn't sneaked in is a plus. Overall, not for me though. Refs can't hear me from there.

I sat in a suite for the UGA game in 2012. Got to watch the end of the Alabama Texas A&M game during our game which was cool. The food isn't anything different than what you get in the Nelson club. I definitely felt isolated but it's comfortable especially when it's cold outside

If you have the opportunity, you should. I definitely wouldn't watch every game from one, but it's nice to do for a game or 2. Good grub, open bar, AC, TVs

Getting to experience a game in the suites is an amazing experience. We got to go to the 2003 Iron Bowl courtesy of a business partner and it is something I will never forget.

Its a whole different experience than being in the stands, from special parking, to hospitality reception when you enter suite level, to all the free swag you get. Fully catered meals, whatever the suite owner wants, they get. Owner can stock liquor, beer, etc the week prior. Meals served on bone china with the AU emblem. We had appetizers, beef tenderloin, and an assortment of desserts. The suites are extremely nice with small kitchenettes and private bathrooms, and AU decorates the suites for each game with things like fresh flowers, etc. There are TVs in the suites that you can watch the game on or other games (we had another game on).

Its pretty awesome to say the least to see how the other half lives.

I heard rumor that when they add the North end zone addition that the suites will be much like baseball suites, an indoor portion with outdoor suites.

Does anyone know if that is true? Or will they be self-contained as they currently are?

I'd definitely try it and see what I think.

My parents did it a while ago and said they didn't like being so disconnected from the emotion occurring outside...in a way, it was like watching the game on TV, through a pane of glass.

I suggest trying it with a lesser opponent

I did not like being closed off from the atmosphere. I tend to yell believing that the players and refs can hear me
