Isn't he up for retirement after next year? I think I read that somewhere. If so, let him finish it out and wish him well on whatever else he wants to do, but make sure he leaves.

I just assume leave all the current coaches in place until Jacobs is gone and let the new AD pick his guys.

Personally Gus was about 4th or 5th on my list but I am giving him the chance he deserves to prove himself now that he is here. I am not saying fire them all as soon as Jacobs leaves, I am saying don't fire them before he does.

That would give Barbee another year even though we are still pretty bad, but we have slightly improved. Basketball is the one sport that 1 or 2 freshmen can come in and turn a program around and we still haven't seen it. I know that Barbee inherited a mess of a roster, but it just doesn't take a long time to turn around a basketball program when you have solid support behind you.

Listening to Fbaum he's made the point that the Gouge will be retiring soon and may not want to be responsible for any big changes before he leaves, if that's the case then we need to start counting down the days until he leaves

This shite is getting ridiculous. No one respects us in athletics. I mean we got trolled by a white basketball player from Ole Miss??? There's so many things wrong with that sentence I don't even know where to start

In one or two years? Eh...

The type of freshmen that can do that aren't going to come to Auburn. They go to Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Syracuse, etc...schools with titles and tradition. We ain't got that.

Best guard in the fricking league. Sorry you don't watch SEC hoops and don't understand how good Marshall Henderson has been for OM.

Please tell me a school like AU that has turned their bball program around with 1 or 2 freshman....

I'll wait. You won't come up with an answer.

If JJ is still at AU in three years we are so screwed. He needs to go long before anything with the football or basketball programs need to be evaluated. Basketball needs some evaluation but I don't want JJ anywhere near it.

I said it can happen, not that it will. 1 or 2 freshmen can turn around a program as long as they are really good and mesh well with what is trying to be done. Barbee has just not hit on those guys. He has gotten talented kids but just not the right ones.

Whatevs dude, it's still embarrassing . . . But the GIF and this analysis of it is pretty awesome

Does anyone know who the Karl Rove-looking guy is because he seems more bad azz than the basketball and football team combined. Maybe he can be JJ's replacement?

@wareagleextra: Auburn football, men's hoops and women's basketball this school year vs. the SEC: 5 wins, 24 losses.

Maybe baseball will put us over the hump . . .

Nope . . .
