It looks like he will be eligible to play this season per KN. His last surgery was in November so he's been rehabinb for 6 months. He did tear his ACL and Menescis in same knee on separate occasions, but has since been cleared by Dr. Andrews. Deen's hs coach says AU is getting a special athlete who can play corner safety or nickel. At 6'2 210 Dean reportedly runs a 10.5 100. His coach thinks he'll be "full go" by the end of the summer.
He'll report to AU Sunday.

Hopefully he can come in and stay healthy and contribute. The team sure as hell needs it.

quote:IF and that's a big if given the NCAA said no more waiver options for undergrad transfers to be immediately eligible, it could be there's a NLI void option if a player is deemed medically unfit to play or practice @ school 1 he can play immediately at school 2 if cleared by Doc. That would be the only way if that exception exists..
How is he eligible?

I think tOSU medically released the kid. he had surgery, recovered and now wants to play ball at Auburn. I guess Meyer processed him.

Meyer just hates Saban. Encourages transfers to AU.
