We had more first downs and were about the same yards as A&M all night saturday. They got the one turnover and had field position the whole game. Shannon did us no favors with his punting.

Maybe it looked terrible because of the ridiculousness of the plays that were run.

That is actually a bad stat. It indicates a failure in the redzone with the lack of points.

The only stat that matters. Stats are for losers. I'd rather have fewer 1st downs, because we're getting explosive plays and actually freaking scoring!

Gus said in the press conference after the A&M game that they are "a work in progress". Let that sink in. A "work in progress" in year 4. Game 3 of the season.
