i was trying to remember a catchable ball our receivers have dropped unike last year where it was a consistent problem and through two games can`t remember any, Stevens had his best game, the freshmen seem on the cusp of being real weapons and Hastings has been a pleasant surprise. Do we really miss Craig all that much?

Marcus Davis dropped a TD on a screen pass last Saturday. Still improved i think wish Gus would throw some redzone fade routes to Kyle Davis

In his post game interview, Hastings was gushing about how all of the WRs love Kodi. Also, DC wanted nothing to do with Hastings despite him being one of the fastest players on the team within 10 yards.

DC will get all the blame but the fact is we actually have more talented true wr's on the field. Not former qbs and safeties.

We're going to act like DC had no talent?

Coates/Duke/Ricardo/All the guys making catches this year minus KD

D Craig deserves a boatload of credit for recruiting the talent we have at WR and the 2016 recruiting class, specifically.

Can't say a bad thing about DC, but I applaud Kodi for the effort thus far.

The drops have gone down, but the WRs are blocking better. Every time there is a big run, the WRs are doing a really good job. For example, Will Hastings and Ryan Davis made key blocks that lead to KJ's big run.

Kodi doing work.

I'll say this. I've been impressed with WR play so far. We'll get a better indication over the next two weeks of how much they have improved.

You do realize that nearly all our production comes from players here during all 3 years of DC's career or were former QB/Safeties or in Will Hasting's case walkon kicker

Wide Receivers ranked by targets (Bolded = former HS QB/DB or at AU for entirety of DC tenure)

1- Marcus Davis 11 Targets - Former HS quarterback On roster all 3 years of DC Tenure
2- Will Hastings 7 Targets - Former Walk on KICKER
3- Tony Stevens 6 Targets - Was on roster all 3 years of DC tenure
4- Darius Slayton- 5 Targets **Originally recruited at Safety
5- Stanton Truitt5 Targets- Former HS quarterback
6- Ryan Davis5 Targets - Former HS Quarterback
7- Kyle Davis - 4 Targets
8- Nate Craig-Myers 1 Target

Wide Receivers ranked by targets (Bolded = former HS QB/DB or at AU for entirety of DC tenure)

1- Tony Stevens 91 Yards - Was on roster all 3 years of DC tenure
2- Kyle Davis - 85 Yards
3- Will Hastings 63 yards - Former walk on kicker
4- Marcus Davis 60 yards - Former HS QB
5- Darius Slayton - 55 yards - **recruited as DB

IDGAF what anyone says we have been catching most everything and the hustle is there. I havent seen a receiver half arse jogging or dogging it in any regard this season. sub par effort was the norm under DC's watch over them. Kodi Burns is doing a hell of a job so far. he has 10x the work ethic of DC.

DCraig worked his tail off, he just focused on recruiting. I wouldn't trash talk his work ethic as much what work he prioritized

I am not going to say anything bad about DC as he recruited hard and brought in some great talent. My guess is he was unhappy about Lashlee as the golden boy and it was chemistry and shitty play calling causing issues as much as his coaching. As for the improvement this year it is too early to tell, but a united front on the QB and Kodi having that new guy spark may be igniting them. I do believe Kodi was a hard worker and maybe with his conversion experience and his do anything to win dedication we picked up a notch in motivation.
