I'm not sure how good DC is as a coach

Let's look at DC...

At FSU, he was 'friends' with Jameis. Here, he was friends with Duke. Both of these players have been the biggest frick ups in CFB in the past two years. These friendships he created with players gave them a strong feeling of acceptance regardless of their actions.

Now we're hearing of him having no qualms with the WR's performance against Arky...he 'loves them'.

This no type of attitude we need. DC might be s good coach, but his attitude with players is beginning to show flaws.

He was also QB coach for three 1st round draft picks at FSU. Even if Jimbo was the real QB coach, DC was still with that position group in practice so I'm sure he picked up a few things. He was also a pretty good QB himself. Move him to QBs and let him help out Gus.

I agree he's not a good WR coach though. Said the same thing earlier

You want him to catch the ball for them?

Sure. If it keeps him recruiting for Auburn and away from coaching the WRs, then by all means

Such a pussy response. By this logic, there is no such thing as a bad coach.

Totally just fire him. I'm sure it will help Gus play call better, and muschamp to scheme better, and WRs to catch better, and it should be a major boost to recruiting.

Or none of the above. Craig is fine. It's okay to lose games and not fire everybody.

Craig is going to do it right, stand between his players and the media and stand up for them. He's a player coach.

Then he will spank the hell out of them when they get back to Auburn.

Craig is awesome. A great hire.

He needs to go full Muschamp. Bench the seniors that aren't performing, and work the freshmen into the rotation.

How can we expect them to develop if they sit around for 2-3 years waiting for the shitty older players in front of them to graduate? We need to break the cycle of shitty WR play now.

Receivers have been blocking and running routes well. Very few times they've turned up field or taken eyes off ball before controlling it. High pointing well.

So the only thing left is receivers dropping ball and I don't know how that's on a coach.

Yesterday was just not our receivers' day. Maybe Louis was overconfident after KY.

There is a multitude of drills WR's can do to help their pass catching abilities. I haven't re-watched any of Louis's drops, but there might be a pattern to them.

DC should also bench Louis for a few plays if he doesn't catch good throws...much like you'd do with a fumbling RB.

I have never understood putting an ex QB as WR coach anyways. Put him as QB coach and tell RL to sit in the corner quietly.

I'm not following a lot of drivel on here as of late, but is he the one that is suppose to make the catches. I've always been critical Ricardo's hands. If he could catch better, he'd be one of the best receivers to ever come through Auburn. Maybe he should have been a DB. We are reeling on that side of the ball. He'd probably have a better path to the NFL if he developed into a safety. However yesterday cannot be blamed on DC.

Oh the melt. People that want DC to coach our most important position is hilarious. Hell Lashlee is doing a great job with White.
