Feeling like this today after a third of the season is behind us.
For he most part I stayed off here during the game (because I was there the first half) and yesterday because I didn't want to see all the negative shite.
Without wading through all the fire Gus, fire Jacobs, fire the Pope, have a shotgun lozenge threads started, can someone discuss the positives from the second half?
I know RZ play calling was bad and it sounds like o-line played poorly, but looks like the defense really stepped up. Or did State just shite the bed? Did Frost get much playing time? How did White look? Any injuries?
Someone bring me back to my AU Family state of mind.

Defense started forcing 3 and outs, played aggressive and fast. Focus was on stopping the run and forcing DAK to beat us with the pass. They took less chances because they had a two score lead.
Offense: Moved the ball until we got to the red zone. Still settled for 2 FGs in 2 redzone attempts. Turn one of those into a TD and it was a different game. Also no break away threat at all. I want more Karryon and LESS Roc.
NOTE: We lost this in the first half, a game that should have been at WORSE 14-10 was 14-0.
ETA: Impressed that 95% of the fans stayed till the end to support their team who was in a close game.

On D we freaking tackled!! We stood up the ball carrier and drove them backwards on more than one occasion. The defense did enough to keep us in the game, especially in the 2nd half.
On O- I feel better in this loss than I did after the Louisville game. I saw a base to build from, Snowboard is a competitor and Kerryon my wayward son was close to breaking loose a few times. Redzone execution was a problem with an INT and high snap. I think we have a chance to win some we aren't supposed to.
