The best part of it all is there are some big names there and it's Bo in charge. That's what I love.
If I win, and I think I will, and auburn is 13-0 going into the playoffs, which they will be, I can't wait to be on the sidelines with Bo watching football in a praying position, like I do at home.
Maybe doing a.. finger thang?.. with Cam

I couldn't afford the prices at Auburn. Had to do it in P'cola. I washed planes for a $20 credit and a 152 wet was $32.50 an hour.

Plane is $90/hr, Instructor is $45/hr. I'm extremely quick so I don't have to spend a ton on ground time. I'm already doing touch and gos, all stalls, steep turns by myself 4 hours in.

Auburn is expensive. I'm not going to say I don't recommend it because the people are... Or were and hopefully still are... great. Screw the fbo though, charged the students full price for gas so they could justify their existence to the VP of facilities. Ahole thing to do.
That said, local fbo, a 5gph c152, cheap is good. I went to go check out at pdk and it was $195 per hour plus $85 for a cfi who said in a couple of flights I could be checked out. 5 hour check out to fly efis. I fly efis, every day, didn't matter. Screw that. And if they can't solo you in 5-10 hours, its them, not you and question that. Obviously I'd you're smart enough to be an auburn fan ou should solo in 5 hours.
All you really need is a cheap plane that is safe, a cfi who gives a damn and a good iPad. I mean the g1000 crap is cool I guess, but the iPad is more important. So good on you making it affordable because in the end your certificate looks the same as theirs.
Fly. Enjoy it. And, in my best trump voice, I hope to be flying with you awesome auburn people here at Delta or watch you go by in American or UAL colors. You're all great.

I've already graduated and fly in bham. Much cheaper than Auburn.
