Turnovers and sloppy play ruined the very real improvement on offense this past weekend. At the game, it looked like Stidham was holding on to the ball too long, but after rewatching the game on TV, he actually delivered the ball on time on the majority of his passes. Granted it was MERCER, but still.

Biggest issue moving forward will be our offensive line. Darius James is down and Tega's head is spinning. JUCO center is rusty and Golson hasnt taken a live rep at RT since his freshman year.

Another major issue is ball security from our WRs. What the frick is Kodi teaching these kids? Route running is also lazy

Don't bother. Most of these guys have made up their minds on the subject.

Pretty sure Golson played RT the first couple games last year.

Thats because most here expect perfection. We are going to crush Missouri and all the haters will be back on board sans the "its Missouri defense" detractors

Not sure if it was last year, but we did have a JUCO center play some in '14 before getting hurt iirc. I think it was '14. Hell i cant remember. Every 8-5 season run together

During the season, I will stay as positive as possible. We need to take care of Mizzou and then let the defense win the game vs. MSU. Also Gus's offense always take 3 to 4 weeks to get going...

Most O's do. Bama just runs Hurts. He has not developed as a passer.

We won't know for another month. You can't judge anything by the last game.

I have not abandoned my posibarner ways yet, I would just like something to get excited about on offense. If Gus would just run the whirlybird for me......

I didn't think Dunn looked Rusty. I think he looked good. Golson, however, seemed a little thrown off by the switch to RT but having to do that mid-game can't be easy.

One of the first plays he was in, there was a slide protection to the right and he let his man run right past him and effect the play. Stood out to me when watching the game again on TV

I'll be that guy. Missouri is absolutely hot garbage. It is known.

Are you being serious with this statement? That's like saying Pettway could have run for 3 bills this weekend if he hadn't gotten tackled so much. Sloppy play and 5 or 6 fumbles is not indicative of an improving offense. This game should have been over before halftime, but instead we carried a 7 point lead into the 4th.

I want to believe but the ending to the last three years has gotten me not to believe from game 1 as long as Mr. Excuses acts like it's no big deal.

He's right man. You take out all the mistakes and areas we didn't improve and we played near flawless football Saturday.

I would revise this to "we MAY BE improving on offense."

We moved the ball well but it was Mercer. So do we really know if we improved?

But I did see what you saw and what the melters are blind too
