My Saints suck. My Auburn Tigers suck. After practically counting down the days till kickoff since last January, I feel like I woke up on Christmas and all the decorations and presents were gone.

Find me a funny gif/image to take away the sads please.

It's fine man I've endured the Braves and so far Auburn so I know the feeling. Add that to the Predators playing in the toughest division in the NHL and it makes for a stressful sports year.

Good news is there is much more to life than sports

Same boat brother! Saints, auburn and my fantasy team(s) are all in the shiter. AU needs a QB change , the Daunts are having to make one because Brees is banged up.
Why do we put ourselves through this agonizing treatment!

Just curious....did you go to AU for school or are you just a fan? Not that it matters, I'm just wondering. I have other friends who are college and pro fans but lean to pros more too. I'm personally a die hard Saints fan, born and raised. Was at the Super Bowl when they won. But if I had to trade 5 of their seasons and have them go winless so Auburn could win the ship, I would not bat an eye about it.

Different strokes I guess!

Nope. Just a fan. I just like the level of play in NFL better. I see 5 yard catches that go for 20+in college and just think that's 5 yards in NFL.

Fantasy was also a driving factor but just like the quality of football better.

After 2010 when AU won NC it also helped my opinion.

Yep, I am more of a CFB man myself. I enjoy NFL play, but I can watch just about any college game over the NFL.

Over the last couple years I've gotten to where I enjoy a sporting event much more when I don't particularly care about the outcome.

BUT that joy never trumps what you experience in a year like 2013 or 2010. When amazing things happen to a team you've stuck with you're whole life, it's simply the best.
