They say enjoy a win for 24 hours before moving on...think I’ll go with 12.

Call me a sour puss, but I saw this same season last year. Lost a tight one to Clemson with very questionable coaching decisions and a bad passing game. Got into a rhythm starting with Miss St and looked formidable for the mid part of the season. Lost to Georgia and Alabama.

I think we win out until Georgia but Amen Corner is the real test for Gus. He has to be able to beat good teams and definitely needs to be able to beat our main rivals.

Same boat man, until I see a win against UGA or Alabama this season is still up for grabs.

Of course everyone wants that but don't overlooks some of the teams on our schedule. Texas AM can be dangerous as can LSU and Arkansas. We are not 8-1 yet. A longs ways from it

But if you are comparing this team to last year, you are blind. They have not even hit their stride yet. If we can get the running game going, we can play with anyone

UGA is very good this year. And I hate to say it but Alabama is so much better than anyone else in college football, its not even funny

The only difference I see is at the end of last season the collapse was mainly due to White's injury. I think if something happens to Stidham, Willis is more than capable to come in and perform at a high level.

Also, I really believe our defense is better this season.

We've seen this team struggle in an early game then hit its stride only to collapse. We've also seen a Gus-coached AU team struggle in early games and find its groove and play for the NC.

I love me some Malik Willis but I don't believe he is ready to run the team yet. The snaps Gus is giving him in the games are critical. Kudos for Gus doing that. He has tons of potential but He is very raw still

I understand the comparison to last year but this team looks so much more pumped up than last year. They just can't get over confident ... Some very dangerous games still out there

The losing to doormat georgia over and over is what got me off the Gus bus. Hard to get back on until he turns that corner. Being 2-9 against a lackluster rival is ridiculous and Gus just never seemed to care.

This feels a little different than last year... the running game, while solid, isn't clicking like it did last year.... yet we're still dominating teams we should dominate.

It's an overall good sign that we've scored points, yet still have a bunch of room for improvement. We need to get the backs healthy... the new OL lineup is playing well.

This, lot's of good signs and all can see we have improvements to be made in our run game, but saw positives in the OL last night.

I think Kam is hurt, and Johnson looked to be about 70-80% last night. Gus is going to have to take a chance with the other backs and let them boys fully recover. If KP is truly healthy then something else is wrong.

He isn't running with any authority or power.

I felt like the OL was getting push and holes were there that the backs didn't take advantage of.... i really like the explosiveness Malik Miller showed in the 4th qtr... and the coaches seem to be gaining confidence in Barrett.

I say let's see what the young RBs can do... as long as all security isn't an issue.

I'll be holding my breath going into Death Valley. Unfortunately, I can see us losing that one.

Sure would be nice to have a coach who could use August to get his offense ready for September instead of using September to get his offense ready for October.

They are doing much better with Dunn at center and Braden at guard. I also think Golson is better at tackle.

I still think we need an intermediate passing game and a little more variety on play calling in the run game and in the red zone, but Gus gets credit for the last two weeks.

I wouldn't say I'm back on the bus, but I'll give him credit when he earns it.

Also, the defense is so fricking sick.

The 3 game road trip is tough. I hate to see people assuming we get through that unscathed.

No it isn't.

We might drop one of them but it's not tough. Three terrible teams with a bye week in the middle of it is not tough

yea, every team on our schedule is losable. It should not be but I really like taking it one game at a time right now. We don't need a let down to hurt the momentum this team has built

We are still undefeated in the SEC and as much in the mix as anyone. Need to come out and play well early next week. That will be another struggle but we should handle Ole Miss.

Definitely

I think we need more quick pass routes that don't require so much set up.

If you're not back on the bus at 4-1 being ranked #13, with the only loss by 8 at Clemson, keep your arse off.

I don't see what the point of being a fan with this mindset.

I can see where anyone would be concerned about losing to uga and bama. Both look to be top 5 type teams this season with nasty D's.

I can't comprehend how anyone would think this season is remotely like last season. Our winning streak was built off smoke and mirrors. We struggled against any team with NFL talent on the DL with SW or without him.

JS provides something we haven't seen at Auburn in a long, long time. Even Cam wasn't as accurate as him. Our OL is showing signs of improvement, but our RB's are not game breakers.

The D is better this season as well.

A&M and LSU are dangerous merely because of their talent level. We should win both.

It will come down to uga and bama. Both will be tough wins, but we get both at home.
