Never seen that one before. Really cool. Thanks for posting it! Never heard Rods call of anytime kick before tonight either.
Hoping to be right back there again in a little over 6 months.
God bless America and WDE!

The Auburn Tigers are on top of the college football world!

I remember hugging like 150 people in the stands that night in Glendale.

I was sitting beside Barrett Trotters parents. Didn't want to make enemies. Just kept it friendly.

I cried like a girl for fifteen minutes, then I told the twenty, or so, leghumpers I was with; "Can you taste that? No, of course you can't! It is Victory!! F-U Bitches!"

We all shook hands. I lied, and told them "Gurley will get you there."

My family and my daughter went to Georgia. There is NO frickING WAY i would watch an Auburn game with them. Not even a Louisiana directional school. Especially not a Natty.

Good on ya for being able to do that. I cant. I gotta watch AU games with AU people or I watch by myself. And NEVER EVER with the opposing team fans. Never.

I use to volunteer at a non-profit near us. They take guys from our area who are getting out of prison, and we help them re-acclimate back to society. It was my week to be the "responsible adult". Being as I live in GA, most are puppy lovers...

It was gratifying just having them watch me celebrate!

No way! They all depended on my reports to their parole/probation officers.

After 3 years, I did step down from that position. It took a lot of my time. I still support them, but I just needed to focus on my daughter.

That is pretty awesome of you to step up to do that. I am assuming there is some resason you were drawn to that. Oz taught me all i know about prison. The Wire taught me easy ways to get to Oz.

New Article 7/10/15
Gets me pumped! I was a little worried about it sounding like the old system.

quote:

"This sound system is in the top 10 percent, output wise, our company has ever designed," said David Sturzenbecher, Daktronics project engineer for sound.

The video board and speaker array are designed to keep the sound energy off of the glass within Jordan-Hare. The previous sound system had few output directions, resulting in the sound bouncing off of the glass-windowed boxes and distorting it depending on where fans sat in the stands.

"The taller the speaker array is, the more directionality you can get from it," Sturzenbecher said. "On this board, the arrays are very, very tall. That allows us to have better control over the sound throughout the stadium."

quote:

The previous system in Jordan-Hare Stadium had an analog mixing console and analog signal transmissions to the amplifiers. The new design is completely digital and creates a much improved sound quality, Sturzenbecher said.

"Being completely digital allows us to do some pretty unique things from the mixing table that we didn't have the opportunity to do with the old system. We can cut out the low end and mud from vocals to make them more intelligible. We don't route vocals through the subwoofers anymore. The subs will be 100 percent just for music."

Fine tuning a system as advanced as this will take time, nearly two weeks of white sound testing will occur before Auburn kicks off against Jacksonville State Sept. 12.
