The rant is starting to look a lot like it did in 2010. There are some real angry folks. A whole lot of'em too. I have not had this much fun on the rant in years.

It is starting to set in that we are going to make the playoff. Hell, the gumps have 2-3 threads dedicated to us in their board. WDE. It is good to be hated.

Ole Miss was our last hurdle. If their quick D couldn't stop us, UGA and Bama won't either. Even with Gurley, our strength on D is stopping the run. Neither school has a QB that can match NM. We in, boy's. And it is setting up nice for us. We want MSU to win out. That would give us an extra week to rest, and I am kind of worried about UF. If they can move the ball on O, their D is the best in the SEC. I would not be surprised if, IF they got to the SEC championship game, they have a chance at winning.

No kidding. The rant's in vintage form. Still hope we win out, with UGA and Bama being one possession games based on entirely bizarre and improbable circumstances.

The knife was put in last year. I'm ready to twist it.

This shite's a jinx.

Think back to how you felt in the first 5 minutes of the MSU game after those fumbles & scores. This team is not dominant enough to avoid giving you that feeling again.

Take it one game at a time, because Georgia & Alabama on the road are scary no matter what. Hell just looking ahead to them makes me nervous about A&M.

I'm not a negabarner but we have really only done about 40% of what we need to, to even be able discussing playoff. Keep that in mind.

Agreed. Let's beat A&M first before we start talking about beating anyone on the rest of our schedule.

Our defense seems to have taken a giant leap backwards and it gives me the sadz. The lack of discipline and bad tackling is frustrating to watch. Our offense is in high gear, but we are not a dominating team at all to this point.

Can we run the table? sure, is it a given? No. If our defense brings it up a few notches than I would be confident as hell we could go into Athens and Loosa and win.

With that said I don't believe in jinxing and we going to the Ship.

Agree with all of that.

And the part about going to the ship.

But I guess we have to turn our backs on our friends from Lansing and hope for a OSU win this weekend.

If Oregon tripped again somewhere then that'd help.

This way we go whether we got to the SECCG or not, which given the condition Ole Miss has been left in i'm thinking MSU will be 11-1 and win the tie breaker.

Even with MIchigan State's 11-1 they wouldn't have what Auburn has when it comes to strength of schedule. AU is staying in the playoff until we lose again and the committee has all but said that.

I think our D struggling has more to do with us playing good teams. We have played the toughest schedule in the country, and it has had an effect on our D. But as bad as we are between the 20s, we are the best in the red zone.

Our d wouldn't look so bad if we didn't consistently commit Personal fouls or PI ON 3rd downs.

Meh. I remember when we looked like shite on a stick during the stiff dew game at LSU last year. We got our shite pushed in by Jeremy Hill. So MSU was this year. We got this. but we gotta play one game at a time.

I hate Georgia so much its hard not to look past TAMU, but they can be dangerous.

No we didn't.

Hill had two very nice runs. The other 20+ runs he had went for an average of 3.5 yards.
